Eastbrook Announcement

Grasslands Public Schools is pleased to announce that Chris Zottl will be transferring to Eastbrook School as Principal beginning in the 2025–2026 school year.

Chris brings a strong background in educational leadership to his new role. Since 2018, he has served as Principal of Sunrise School and Sunrise Collegiate. Before that, he was Vice Principal at Eastbrook Elementary from 2014 to 2018, and Duchess School from 2013 to 2014. His teaching career began in special education, followed by over 10 years as a Junior High teacher at Rolling Hills School. He also held two director-level roles in special education early in his career.

Chris holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Educational Administration from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education.

Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environments. He is known as a collaborative partner and strong relational leader with a passion for student success and staff well-being.

"I am very excited to be returning to Eastbrook, in a new role, and having the chance to lead this vibrant community. My roots in education were in elementary and I am very happy to be returning to this setting. While things may have changed since I was last at Eastbrook, one thing has remained constant…the commitment to student success by the staff of this building. My own commitment to the well-being of students and staff, both in and out of the classroom, are the foundation of my beliefs around education and leadership and I am very pleased to bring this passion to the Eastbrook family." -Chris Zottl

Please join us in congratulating Chris on this new chapter and welcoming him back to the Eastbrook community!
